Unscheduled stops were also made Talsarnau, Penrhyndeudraeth, and Afon Wen, for 10 minutes in the last case. So a 30 min late departure from Barmouth became 55 mins late into Penychain. In fact there was excellent running by the pair of 0-6-0's, with vigorous starts throughout. ----------------------------------------------------- The Cambrian Coast Steam 1954-1967 Archives Page
