Gloucestershire Warwickshire Rly 2005/2006
 

I made two visits to the line in 2005. The first was a Diesel event on 10th April, and the second during May. The Diesel event included 2 class 47's (47376 was in woeful condition), a class 37, and a class 14. On the May visit, locos operating were 7903 Foremark Hall, 3205, and 4247. Weather was dry but mainly overcast.

The second visit, on the Saturday of the Diesel Gala, was slightly more successful, apart from my inability to get any decent photos of the class 20's. Star of the show was the recently repainted 47376 in Freightliner livery, which looked superb. Locos operating were 47105, 47376, 37324, D8142, D8137, and 73129.

Two visits were also made in 2006. The highlight of the June visit was travelling in the Auto trailer behind 0-4-2T no 1450. Photography wise, I would be the first to admit that I made a complete hash of things, despite reasonable weather conditions.
