The
2005 Spring Steam Gala, 12th & 13th March, had a Branch Line
theme, with the extensive use of tank engines. The Photographs below were taken on
the Saturday, when the weather was fine and sunny. There were 2 visiting
locomotives, ex LBSC 0-6-2T no 32473 from the Bluebell Railway, and
0-6-0PT no 1638 from the Kent & East Sussex Railway. Home based locomotives in use
included 0-6-0PT no 1501 and 2-6-2T no 5164. Pannier tank 5764 was on
standby. Photos were taken at Kidderminster and Bewdley.
During the
course of the day, I was hauled by 5164, 1501, 32473, and 1638.
