Date: Saturday 19th April 1960
dep: Birmingham New St 7.56am..1 Late
arr: Bristol Temple Meads 10.05am..10 Late
A 10 minute late arrival at Bristol was rough justice
for an excellent run. There were slipping problems
on a wet rail leaving Birmingham, but good running
thereafter meant that, despite two P W slowings, we
might of been into Bristol only 2 or 3 minutes down,
but for dead stands for Signals at Lawrence Hill and
again at Temple Meads East.
