Reading Didcot & South Devon 2002 |
||
A
day at Reading in September was well worth while. Sunshine, and
good variety of motive power on the freights, including a class 60 on
the Wolverhampton to Hoo Junction Steel empties. I broke the return
journey at Didcot, and photographed a few locos in the yard.
The South Devon photographs include a Res 47, seen at Paignton. It was the standby locomotive from Newton Abbot, which had been sent for to cover a Steam Locomotive (76079) fault. In the event it was not needed. The final two photos were taken at Dawlish. |
