Rugby 2005 & 2006 
 
With Rugby only 30 minutes away from my local station, Hampton in Arden, it has taken over from Stafford as my most popular place to spend an afternoon. The 87's and 90's are greatly missed on the West Coast Main Line express passenger services, but there is much Freight variety in the afternoons. Six visits have been made in 2005 and 2006, although the latest visit, on 9th December 2006, was not spent on Rugby station. It was spent photographing the old Great Central Viaduct, which is scheduled to be dismantled over Christmas. As a teenager, I spent many happy days trainspotting on the embankment close to the viaduct.
