 EVESHAM VALE LIGHT RAILWAY 
The Railway is situated in Evesham Country Park, Worcestershire, and opened in August 2002. It's gauge is 15 inches, and the principal station, Twyford, is located adjacent to the park. The line runs through pleasant orchards and fields, around a return loop, and back to Twyford.

I visited the line in July 2004, for it's annual gala, and several visiting locos were working. The photos below were the result.

 BIRMINGHAM SOCIETY OF MODEL ENGINEERS  
The Society operates from Tidbury Green, where it has extensive track facilities covering several gauges. The open day, in August each year, has always been a popular event, and one which I like to attend. Shortly after I arrived for the August 2004 event, the heavens opened. I attempted a few photographs, but after a short while, with the area becoming flooded, the organizers had to end the event. In any case, most visitors had already left. Below are the few photos I was able to take.
